Classic Picture Books Recommendation II for Ages 3-4

The picture book recommends by KnewSTEP this week is a story from the Little Critter series “I was so mad” created by American author Mercer Mayer. Mayer is the pioneer of picture book genre, and based this best-selling series on his family life, and inspiration from his children and grandchildren. Picture books are often the preferred choice when Western children start reading independently. Parents can create a good language learning environment for their children and stimulate their children’s language development through day-to-day communication and reading together. The following picture books would ideal for their reading journey, so let’s take a look at this cute and humorous hedgehog that stole the hearts of many children!

I was so mad is a heart-warming story about little critter’s grumpy day because grown-ups told him don’t do this, and don’t do that. Both parents and children will relate to this everyday scenario.
