Online Teaching Training Course

With the growing popularity of IB curriculum among schools in China 🇨🇳️, ZengCheng Qing Hua Kindergarten partnered with KnewSTEP Education 🤝 and held a two-day online teaching 💻 training course regarding the innovative teaching methodologies between 24th and 25th October 2018.
The training course was delivered by Dr. Winnie Pui, PhD in Education from University of Cambridge👩🎓. Dr. Winnie Pui 👩🏫 skillfully incorporated examples from Qing Hua Kindergarten teachers’ daily teaching into the presentation of IB curriculum. This encouraged the early education teachers to maximise their original teaching potentials and fully integrate their potentials into the system of IB curriculum.
Apart from the theoretical aspect of learning, there were also moments of interactive learning during the teaching training sessions. Teachers actively joined the discussion and shared their learning experience 💬, showing a fun and engaging learning atmosphere. During the practice session related to the topic of ‘inquiry’, teachers focused on recycling the taught knowledge into the themed lesson design. At the end of the training, Dr. Winnie Pui further provided an extensive session that guided teachers to focus on inquiry-based teaching approach.
Through this training, we deeply appreciated the professionalism and diligence of teachers from Qing Hua Kindergarten. We believe that the excellent quality of the teachers will fill the campus with positive energy, and inspire all teachers and students to be innovative, well-rounded, and dedicated to creating a better future in the school. 🤗
